Rated Cranes and Scaffolding Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of skill development, 3rd party inspection, technical safety training and certified workforce solutions. We have recently built and commissioned a brand-new Confined Space Entry (CSE) simulator & drills station, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) & Fit Testing training bays to meet the needs of our numerous clients in the oil and gas, factories and industrial process plants at our new yard at Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Safety Engineer

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• We are hiring a Process Safety Engineer who must have practical knowledge of gas testing, process safety, Confined Space hands-on, LOTO & Machine Guarding in industrial settings like tank farms, FPSO, vessels, manholes and electrical power plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Training of clients on Process Safety Management, LOTO, Confined Space, PTW.
• Implement and maintain Process Safety Management systems in line with OSHA 1910.119 and API RP 754.
• Lead training on hazard and operability studies, what-if analysis, and job hazard analysis sessions.
• Manage the LOTO, CSE, Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, PTW scope of work.
• Manage the Gas Testing Simulator Training at clients’ facilities.
• Attend Safety Meetings and share detailled report with the HR Manager and The CEO respectively.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemical Engineering, Mech, Process Engineering, or a related science discipline
• Must have 3 - 5 years experience in a process safety, chemical plant, vessels or oil and gas environment.
• Must have HSE certification – OPITO, NEBOSH Diploma, STCW, Marine Certification,
• A gas tester, Confined Space Attendant or Fire Watch certificate is an advantage.

Salary
N300,000 - N450,000 monthly.
