Job Title: Web Press Operator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• You will be responsible for operating and maintaining web printing machines used for high-volume commercial printing (newspapers, magazines, catalogs), ensuring efficiency and top-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate web offset printing machines
• Monitor print quality (color registration, ink density, paper alignment)
• Adjust machine settings to meet job specifications
• Load paper rolls and ensure smooth press operation
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
• Troubleshoot mechanical or printing issues
• Maintain production records and report faults
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or Technical / Vocational training in Printing Technology or related field
• Proven experience with web press machines (City Line, Goss Community, Eco line, etc.)
• Good understanding of web offset printing processes
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
