Job Title: Backend Developer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of high-performance applications across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code for web applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
- Perform testing to optimize application performance
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Backend Developer
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Java (Spring Boot)
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
Other Requirements:
- Experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of secure coding practices.
