Job Summary
- We are seeking a Technical Support Supervisor to lead technical support for our electric vehicle (EV) operations in Nigeria.
- This role focuses on providing technical guidance, supporting service teams, resolving complex issues, and ensuring high service standards across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support Management:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for EV products, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair guidance.
Service Network Support:
- Work closely with service centers and technicians to ensure proper handling of technical issues and adherence to company standards.
Training & Development:
- Assist in organizing and delivering technical training for technicians, including EV systems, high-voltage safety, and repair procedures.
Issue Resolution:
- Handle complex technical faults, major customer complaints, and support root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track key technical performance indicators such as First Fix Rate (FFR), Turnaround Time (TAT), and service quality.
Spare Parts Coordination:
- Support parts planning by identifying frequently used components and ensuring availability for repairs.
Quality Reporting:
- Prepare and share technical reports on product performance and field issues to support continuous improvement.
Compliance:
- Ensure all technical operations follow Nigerian safety standards, road regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Collaboration:
- Work with after-sales, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 4–5 years of experience in technical support or after-sales service within the automotive, EV, or related industry.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of EV systems, diagnostics, and repair processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
