Job Summary

  • We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Network Engineer Lead / ICT Lead to oversee the design, implementation, management, and optimization of the organization’s ICT and network infrastructure.
  • The successful candidate will lead ICT operations, supervise technical teams, ensure the security and reliability of network systems, and drive initiatives that improve overall technology performance across the organization.
  • This role requires strong leadership capability, deep technical expertise, and the ability to align ICT operations with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, and management of the organization’s network infrastructure.
  • Oversee daily ICT operations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient network connectivity across all business units.
  • Manage and maintain core network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure system integrity and security.
  • Implement network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and monitoring tools, to safeguard organizational data.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and business continuity initiatives for ICT services.
  • Supervise ICT team members, provide technical guidance, and ensure efficient task execution.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, infrastructure expansion, and new ICT projects.
  • Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and consultants for ICT-related procurements and support services.
  • Prepare ICT performance reports, budgets, and recommendations for management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in network engineering, ICT infrastructure management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in network architecture, routing and switching, server management, and network security.
  • Hands-on experience managing enterprise networking equipment and ICT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, wireless systems, and network monitoring tools.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or related certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in project management and ICT strategy development will be an added advantage.
