Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and competent Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records; ensure all transactions are properly documented.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
  • Perform regular bank, general ledger, and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with basic treasury functions where required.
  • Review financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary
N400,000 – N600,000 Monthly
