Basic Foundation International School (BFIS) is a co-educational private institution located in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. The school provides a comprehensive educational path from early childhood through secondary education.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Biology Teacher

Location: Abia
Job type: Full-time

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed)+PGDE, or B.A (Ed) + PGDE
• Must have 2–5 years experience in a reputable school
• Additional certification are an advantage
• Must be a Qualified Teacher with proven teaching experience in secondary education
• Strong expertise in Lesson Planning and proficiency in teaching subject area

Additional Requirements:

• Professional, mature, and diligent
• Passion for teaching, enthusiasm for education and ability to inspire students to excel
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office required; Google Classroom an advantage)
• Knowledge of the Nigerian curriculum
• Strong organizational skills, classroom management, and ability to work under pressure.
