We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Officer

Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Purpose

• To coordinate and monitor day‑to‑day production line activities, ensuring the achievement of production targets while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and GMP standards.
• The role supports efficient line performance, resolves operational bottlenecks, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting across shifts.

The Job

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth operations, proper workflow, and achievement of shift production targets.
• Monitor production processes and line performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement timely corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
• Validate in‑process quality checks and ensure operators consistently adhere to GMP, hygiene, and production standards.
• Allocate manpower effectively across production lines to ensure adequate staffing at each stage of the process.
• Review and verify production documentation including batch records, material usage sheets, downtime logs, and shift reports.
• Ensure effective communication between Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Packaging teams to resolve operational issues promptly.

Qualification

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in GMP, Food Safety, Lean Manufacturing, or TMP.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or FMCG production environment, preferably in production line operations or supervision.

The Person Must:

• Demonstrate strong coordination and supervision skills in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Have good attention to detail with the ability to monitor processes and documentation accurately.
• Be proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Possess good communication skills to effectively interface with cross‑functional teams.
