Job Title: Sanitation Worker  

Location: Lekki / Victoria Island (VI), Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sanitation Worker responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment within a retail supermarket.
• The ideal candidate must be committed to high cleanliness standards and able to work efficiently in a busy store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize store floors, shelves, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain overall cleanliness of assigned areas
• Properly dispose of waste and trash in designated areas
• Refill cleaning supplies, tissue, soap, and sanitation materials
• Respond quickly to spills, messes, and urgent cleaning needs
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times
• Maintain cleanliness around entrance areas and customer spaces
• Report damages, repairs, or maintenance issues to management
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
• Previous cleaning/sanitation experience is an advantage
• Experience in a retail store or supermarket is an added advantage
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Must reside withinVI, or nearby areas.

Work Schedule:

• 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 6 Days a Week
• (Includes 1 Hour Break).

Salary
