We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Akwa Ibom 
Employment Type: Full Time

Purpose of The Role

  • To assist lead electrical in execution of construction activities at site for the LNG Liquefaction, Storage and Export terminal. monitoring, management, executing and approving construction activities at site through selected EPC Contractors/ Contractors.

Overall, Role Description / Required Skill Sets

  • Assist Lead-Electrical in planning, monitoring and execution of all electrical works associated with the project including Installation of PDB’s, earthing work, Cable laying work, monitoring all electrical safety requirements, supervising the testing of DB’s, commissioning and energizing of DB’s.
  • Supervision, coordination, and inspection of DBs and electrical material received at site and preparing the data’s such as allocation of DB’s, distribution of power to individual agencies and monitoring all safety aspects required for smooth electrical power distribution.
  • Coordination with NG Operator / in charge and inform & record the condition for any power outage issue required for smooth construction power availability.
  • Supervision, coordination, and inspection of entire electrical facilities, preparing of periodic maintenance schedule and inventory list required for smooth operation of all electrical systems
  • Supervision, Coordination, and inspection of electrical system by using electrical measuring and troubleshooting instruments such as Insulation Tester, Earth Resistance Tester, ELCB tester etc.
  • Checking of plans, quantities for its accuracy as per drawing.
  • Preparing the list of material required for smooth distribution of construction
  • Preparing a daily progress report, muster register.
  • Plan, monitor and schedule the material quantities as per project requirements.
  • Contractors / EPC to ensure compliance with established HSE policies, procedures, quality, contract, and schedule requirements.
