Job Summary
- To strengthen our growing operations in Kano, NutriK is seeking a dedicated and experienced Company Cleaner to join our QHSE Department.
General Objective
- The Company Cleaner is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the facility.
- Since the environment involves food manufacturing, maintaining hygiene is essential to prevent bacterial growth and safety hazards. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, proper handling of cleaning chemicals and tools, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace that supports smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Perform light industrial cleaning, including but not limited to mopping, sweeping up debris, wiping down machines.
- Transport, clean, and sanitize machinery parts as needed.
- Be responsible for maintaining a clean environment for the production space.
- Be willing to take on new roles and tasks as needed and assigned.
- Implement safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Carry out any additional relevant tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements & Skills
- Language skills – English.
- Education Degree – Secondary School Certificate.
- Work experience – Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food industry plant environment.
- Computer skills – N/A
Other required skills:
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
