Job Title: ICT / Connectivity Associate

Location: Benin, Edo

Description

  • We are seeking to hire a competent and motivated ICT/Connectivity Associate to join our Information and Communication Technology team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the organization’s connectivity infrastructure by ensuring stable network operations, assisting with troubleshooting, and providing technical support for communication and internet-related issues.
  • This role requires a proactive individual with good technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with other departments to maintain seamless ICT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices including routers, switches, access points, and modems.
  • Monitor network connectivity and ensure the availability of internet and communication systems across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues affecting users, systems, and devices.
  • Provide first-line technical support for internet, network, and communication-related problems.
  • Assist in managing LAN/WAN infrastructure to ensure efficient and uninterrupted connectivity.
  • Maintain and update records of network equipment, connectivity logs, and ICT assets.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of wireless networks and ensure secure access for authorized users.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior ICT personnel where necessary.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance activities to reduce system downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with ICT operational standards and security procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in ICT support, network administration, or connectivity management.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical connectivity issues effectively.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA or Network+ will be an added advantage.
