We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Engineer – 33KV, 11KV and LV Overhead Lines, Underground Cables, Transformers and other Power Infrastructure Installation Works

Locations: Akure - Ondo and Benin - Edo
Employment Type: Contract
Department: Projects
Reports To: Project Manager
Contract Duration: Six (6) Months (Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Summary

• Electrical / Medium Voltage Site Engineer oversees the installations; Underground cable works, overhead line works; testing, commissioning, and to ensure technical compliance, safety, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Underground cable works, Overhead lines works, transformers,Feeder pillars installations, lines & equipment testing & Commissioning
• Managing subcontractors - ability to correct where necessary
• Daily project monitoring and reporting.
• Reviewing design drawings and troubleshooting on-site.
• Coordinating Materials/ Materials checks, materials Issuance & monitoring.
• Technical Support: Act as a technical expert to resolve on-site issues, and provide solutions to the construction team.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all works adhere to NEMSA regulations, and electrical codes.
• Site Supervision: Monitor progress, coordinate subcontractors
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Medium Voltage; (33kv & 11kv) works.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in power distribution projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in LV/MV installations, transformer installation, cable jointing, & overhead line works
• Demonstrated ability to supervise large technical teams.
• Sound knowledge of industry standards and electrical safety regulations.
