Job Title: Sachet Machine Operator (Hassia)

Location: Ibeju Lekki LFTZ, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sachet Machine Operator to manage and operate high-speed sachet packaging equipment within our manufacturing facility.
• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of Hassia Machines, ensuring consistent output, quality control, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor Sachet packaging machines (specifically Hassia) to meet daily production targets.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues, seal failures, or film tracking errors during production runs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and support technical teams during major changeovers and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor sachet weight, seal integrity, and batch coding to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Material Management: Ensure efficient use of raw materials (film, product, and coding ink) to optimize output and reduce waste.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage.
• Safety & Hygiene: Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment (GMP standards).

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• OND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience operating sachet packaging machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Mandatory Requirement: Proven experience with Hassia Machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in recording production data.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow technical instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Must be willing to work or relocate to Ibeju-Lekki.
