We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Duties & Responsibilties
Macroeconomic Intelligence & Monitoring:

  • Track global and domestic macroeconomic developments across growth, inflation, FX, interest rates, and policy direction.
  • Maintain high-frequency data trackers and structured macro dashboards
  • Support production of weekly economic intelligence notes and market updates.

Regional & Subsidiary Intelligence Support:

  • Support macroeconomic tracking and profiling across the Bank's subsidiary and international markets
  • Contribute to development of regional macro profiles and comparative risk assessments
  • Assist in building cross-country datasets to support Group-level insights
  • Support analysis of cross-border trends impacting FX flows, trade activity, and client segments.

Data Analysis & Forecasting Support:

  • Support basic forecasting across key macroeconomic variables (GDP, inflation, FX, interest rates)
  • Maintain forecast trackers and update assumptions in line with evolving data
  • Conduct scenario checks and sensitivity analysis
  • Support preparation of macroeconomic inputs for ALCO and internal committees

Enterprise Intelligence Support:

  •  Support development of proprietary economic intelligence outputs (e.g., indices, sector insights, market trackers)
  • Assist in translating macroeconomic developments into insights relevant for business units and client engagement
  • Support data inputs for internal tools and intelligence products

Insight Development, Presentation & Communication:

  •  Translate data into structured insights, charts, and concise narratives
  • Draft sections of economic notes, internal briefs, and thematic outputs
  • Develop high-quality slides for internal use (e.g., ALCO, management discussions)
  • Ensure outputs are visually clear, structured, and aligned with Bank standards

Manning Requirements / Key Attributes:

  • Strong grounding in macroeconomics and financial markets
  • Basic forecasting capability across key macro indicators
  • Strong PowerPoint (or equivalent) design capability
  • Proficiency in Excel for data handling and analysis
  • Clear writing with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Strong attention to detail and execution discipline

Job Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years’ relevant experience in research, banking, consulting, or economic analysis.
  • Exposure to macroeconomic or financial market analysis is an advantage.
