We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supervisor, Supply Chain

Location: Kano
Department: EHA Pharma
Reports to: Supply Chain & Quality Manager

Mission Objective 

  • The distribution warehouse department is committed to providing high quality and cost-effective products and services to our valued partners and customers in line with our organization’s mission and vision.

Duties and Responsibilities
Purpose:    

  • Coordinate and execute complex pharma supply chain transactions, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and pharmaceutical best practices.
  • Leverage pharmaceutical expertise to optimize pharma supply chain processes, minimize errors, and improve efficiency
  • Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction through accurate forecasting demand and supply, and effective resource management.
  • Develop and implement advanced inventory management and distribution strategies that minimize costs, reduce waste, and ensure the consistent availability of high-demand pharmaceutical products. And Support strategic decision-making by ensuring that all documentation and inputs are accurate.

Engagement:

  • Support initiatives to integrate procurement strategies across various functions within the organization. Collaborate with departments such as finance, operations, and logistics to ensure that procurement activities support overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and vendors through strategic negotiation and effective partnership management, ensuring their needs are promptly and efficiently met, while achieving seamless integration with client systems to enhance engagement and collaboration.
  • Establish a network of reliable and high-performing suppliers that meet quality, delivery, and service standards, through systematic evaluation to ensure consistent supply and minimize supply chain risk.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve product quality issues through close collaboration with the Quality Assurance team

Delivery:

  • Maintain contract compliance and ensure timely deliveries by systematically reviewing and filing vendor contracts, scheduling shipments, and tracking them accurately. 
  • Drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of supplier invoice discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy and vendor relationships. Optimize procurement processes by accurately handling requisitions, product specifications, securing competitive quotations, and handling purchase orders to support efficiency and cost.
  • Improve service delivery and client satisfaction through timely and detailed notifications regarding transaction and service statuses. Ensure that clients and recipients receive accurate and actionable updates to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of ethical procurement, ensuring that all supply chain activities comply with legal and organizational standards. Drive informed decision-making and optimize supply chain performance through data-driven insights.

Targeted Specialized Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in charge of the logistics of medicine supply systems or other relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with a keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with project and task management tools like Asana

Remuneration
N350,000 monthly gross.
