Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• Bogo Beverages Limited is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth, expand market presence, and lead a results-driven sales team within Lagos Island and its environs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional business plans to deliver sustainable growth
• Drive market expansion by onboarding new distributors and wholesalers in unserved locations
• Own and manage the Business Development Area (BDA) P&L
• Embed a strong performance management culture across the team
• Oversee credit risk management and ensure compliance
• Champion flawless in-trade execution across all channels
• Manage trade assets within the BDA
• Strengthen customer relationships, including inventory management, profitability, and van sales coaching
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve targets.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree (MBA is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in the Wine & Spirits industry
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Proven ability to position and differentiate products in competitive markets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Must reside in Lagos Island or its environs.
