Job Title: Programme Executive - Communications

Job Brief

  • The Programme Executive – Communications is responsible for supporting the execution of communication strategies that amplify the company’s research outputs, industry insights, and event content.
  • The role focuses on content creation, digital engagement, media coordination, and timely dissemination of intelligence to policymakers, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Content Communication:

  • Translate research reports and data into accessible content (articles, briefs, infographics, summaries)
  • Support development of publications, newsletters, and thought leadership materials
  • Translate research findings into clear, engaging formats for target audiences.

Digital Communications & Distribution:

  • Execute content distribution across website, email, and social media platforms
  • Manage updates of digital platforms with research outputs and event materials
  • Monitor audience engagement and optimize content performance

Event Communications & Knowledge Dissemination:

  • Support promotion and communication for flagship and related events
  • Coordinate pre-event, live, and post-event content (live updates, summaries, reports)
  • Assist in producing and disseminating event reports and highlights.

Media & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Draft press releases, media briefs, and communication materials
  • Support media outreach and engagement for research and events
  • Maintain and update stakeholder and media databases.

Brand & Quality Control:

  • Ensure all outputs align with company’s brand, tone, and messaging standards
  • Proofread and edit all communications materials for accuracy and clarit

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track performance of communication activities and campaigns
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving reach and engagement

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieve ≥ 95% on-time content delivery rate
  • Maintain ≤ 2% error rate (post-publication corrections)
  • Upload 100% of assigned content within agreed timelines
  • Maintain 100% updated and accurate media database
  • Achieve 100% on-time delivery of event communication plans and materials
  • Publish event highlights/report within 3–5 working days (100% compliance)
  • Contribute to ≥ 25% increase in event digital reach
  • Ensure ≥ 95% adherence to brand guidelines across all outputs.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in communications, PR, media, research, or related field
  • Experience working with content tied to research, policy, or events is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to simplify complex research into clear messaging
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management
  • Basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
