Job Title: Area Sales Coordinator

Location: Onitsha, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• This position is a full-time field sales position and entails a minimum of 6 hours of daily market work.
• The key responsibilities are market coverage across the channels, compliance with coverage of all the outlets as per the route plan, ensuring placement of all the products in the portfolio in the outlets covered, ensuring visibility of products at eye level, ensuring product merchandising, ensure placement of POSM material, communication of right price and promotion to the outlet leading to growing the company business in the designated area.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive the numeric distribution in the assigned area, especially by adding new customers across the channels
• New customer acquisition and more especially appoint KDs in the uncovered geographies
• Identify the new opportunities for growth across various markets in the assigned area
• Builds close relationships and partnerships with customers, leading and influencing them to deliver the monthly, quarterly, and annual growth objectives
• Ensure transparent and effective communication of all the promos
• Ensures regular follow-up with customers to maximize distribution and display opportunities consistent with the established company’s sales and merchandising principles.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate and reliable competition intelligence reports on a weekly basis
• Effective communication and follow-up within the Organization to proactively resolve customer issues on time
• Be proactive in timely addressing sales issues, looking for creative ways, or analyzing performance or data to come up with solutions
• Ensure 100% compliance with outlet coverage, i.e., daily route coverage plan
• Achieve the monthly KPIs and the annual growth targets

Reporting line:

• Regional Sales Manager followed by the Business Manager

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience.
