Job Overview
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Junior Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
- This role is ideal for a fresh graduate with a strong foundation in accounting principles who has completed NYSC and is eager to build a career in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and financial transactions
- Support preparation and maintenance of financial records and ledgers
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately
- Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Support budget tracking and expense monitoring
- Assist with monthly financial reports and documentation
- Ensure proper filing of financial records and compliance documents
- Support audits and respond to basic audit queries
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting
- Fresh graduate
- NYSC completed (mandatory)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Stock Keeping
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational ability
- High level of integrity and willingness to learn
Added Advantage:
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo)
- Internship or entry-level experience in a finance or accounting role.
