Job Summary

  • Sage Grey Finance Limited is seeking a high-performing and results-driven Senior Relationship Manager to drive asset and liability growth, deepen client relationships, and contribute to the company’s strategic expansion.
  • This role is suited for a commercially astute professional with a strong network across high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate organizations, and institutional clients, and a proven ability to generate significant business value.

Key Objectives of the Role
Business Growth & Financial Targets:

  • Achieve and maintain a minimum average portfolio of ₦5 billion in assets and ₦5 billion in liabilities within the first 6 months.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum average ₦5 billion in liabilities within the first 6 months.
  • Drive consistent deposit mobilization and investment inflows aligned with company targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to accelerate revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with HNIs, corporates, and institutional clients.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing portfolios.
  • Deliver tailored financial solutions that enhance client value and retention.

Strategic Contribution:

  • Collaborate with Management on business growth strategies, market expansion, and client acquisition initiatives.
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support the development of sales, marketing, and client engagement frameworks.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing corporate marketing / business development team.
  • Set clear KPIs and drive accountability across the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve peak performance.

Operational & Reporting Excellence:

  • Provide periodic reports on portfolio performance, pipeline, and revenue growth.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and business performance updates.
  • Ensure full accountability for assigned targets and strategic execution.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Performance will be measured based on:
    • Achievement of ₦5 billion asset and ₦5 billion liability targets within 6 months.
    • Revenue generation and portfolio growth.
    • Client acquisition, retention, and relationship depth.
    • Strategic contribution to business growth initiatives.
    • Team performance and leadership effectiveness.
    • Quality and timeliness of reporting.

Reporting & Accountability:

  • Reports directly to Executive Management.
  • Accountable for portfolio performance, revenue targets, and strategic execution.
  • Works closely with leadership on business growth and market expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in banking, financial services, or corporate marketing.
  • Strong track record in deposit mobilization and relationship management.
  • Established network within HNIs, corporates, and institutional clients.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and business development skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed total compensation of N30 million annually.
