Job Summary

  • The Admin and Procurement Assistant will provide administrative support while assisting in the procurement process to ensure the timely sourcing of quality goods and services.
  • The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and management team.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and electronic) for company records.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
  • Support documentation and record-keeping for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and company events.
  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for goods and services.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and follow up on approvals.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of supplies.
  • Maintain supplier database and procurement records.
  • Track orders and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing and terms to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3–6 years’ experience in administrative or procurement roles (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
