Job Summary
- The Admin and Procurement Assistant will provide administrative support while assisting in the procurement process to ensure the timely sourcing of quality goods and services.
- The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and management team.
- Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and electronic) for company records.
- Manage office supplies inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
- Support documentation and record-keeping for compliance and audit purposes.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and company events.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for goods and services.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and follow up on approvals.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of supplies.
- Maintain supplier database and procurement records.
- Track orders and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
- Assist in negotiating pricing and terms to achieve cost efficiency.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years’ experience in administrative or procurement roles (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
