We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Role Description

  • This is a full-time hybrid role for a Tax Manager located in Lagos, Nigeria, with flexibility to work remotely as needed.
  • The Tax Manager will lead and oversee taxation advisory projects, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Daily responsibilities include analyzing complex tax matters, preparing and reviewing tax filings, advising clients on tax planning and optimization strategies, and mentoring junior staff members.
  • The role also involves keeping clients informed about changes in tax legislation and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
  • Professional certification(s) such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional services firm
  • Strong knowledge of Taxation Advisory Services, including Nigerian and international tax laws, regulations, and compliance
  • Expertise in Audit and financial statement analysis to support tax planning
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior staff
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant tax and accounting software
