Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Female Cashier with a strong background in FMCG retail outlets.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, POS, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Process and issue receiptsto customers
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile cash at the end of each shift
• Ensure proper documentation of sales and report discrepancies promptly
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
• Monitor stock levels at the checkout point and report shortages
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
• Support daily sales reporting and assist with basic administrative tasks

Requirements

• BSc / HND in accounting or equivalent qualification,
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a cashier in FMCG retail outlets
• Proven experience handling high-volume transactions
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working in supermarkets or large retail chains
• Good customer relationship skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
