Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our restaurant.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, expenses, and financial transactions accurately
• Reconcile cash, POS, and bank transactions on a daily/weekly basis
• Monitor inventory costs and liaise with store and kitchen teams on stock usage
• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure proper documentation of all financial activities
• Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to improve profitability
• Work closely with auditors during audit processes
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Identify and report any financial discrepancies or irregularities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of accounting experience (restaurant or hospitality experience is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary
N300,000 per month.
