We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Homeschooling Teacher / Speech Therapist

Locations: Rumuodara, Artillery, Rumuokoro, Eliozu, and Rumuola - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description

• We are hiring Home Educators who will be trained to become Speech Therapists.
• This is not a casual teaching role. This is a structured, long-term professional pathway.
• If you are looking for something flexible, temporary, or “just lesson teaching,” this is not for you.

Role Overview

• This role involves homeschooling children in their homes.
• You will be assigned to a child and will deliver structured, school-style learning sessions, not casual lessons.

Responsibilities
You are responsible for:

• Going to the child’s home to teach
• Delivering lessons based on a provided lesson plan
• Following instructions precisely
• Observing and adapting to the child’s needs
• Asking questions when unsure
• Doing personal research to improve your delivery
• You are not creating the curriculum.
• Your job is execution with excellence.

Training & Career Path:
We do not just hire teachers. We build Speech Therapists.

• You will undergo an initial observation period
• You will receive one-on-one training in:
  • Education delivery
  • Child engagement
  • Speech and language development
• Over time, you will be trained to transition into a Speech Therapy role
• This is a growth-based position, not a static job.

Mandatory Requirement (Non-Negotiable)

• You must be physically present at our office in Rumuodara every Monday for:
  • Staff meetings
  • Training sessions
• Failure to attend means you cannot continue in this role.
• Your responsibilities include:
  • Showing up on time
  • Delivering sessions professionally
  • Submitting reports when required
  • Maintaining consistency with the child
• Commitment Requirement: This is a contract-based role.
• First month: Onboarding & training
• After onboarding: Minimum 1-year commitment required
• You will be required to sign an agreement confirming this.
• If you are not willing to commit for at least one year, do not apply.

Work Structure & Pay

• You will be assigned one or more children. Payment is per child, and calculated per how many sessions you handled per month.
• Each session lasts 1–2 hours
• Your earning depends on how many sessions and children you take.
• High-performing educators can earn up to ₦200,000 monthly.
