About the Role
- We are seeking a highly competent and disciplined General Manager.
- Based in Victoria Island, Lagos, this critical leadership role is designed for a strategic thinker and proven deal-closer who will oversee operations, drive exponential revenue growth, and steer the company’s long-term strategic direction.
- The ideal candidate will take ownership of the business operations, build robust logistical systems, optimize profitability, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership: Supervise and provide strategic direction to department heads across Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Administration.
- Revenue & Commercial Growth: Drive robust revenue generation, ensure the achievement of aggressive sales targets, and spearhead market expansion initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor day-to-day operational efficiency, ensuring optimal resource utilization and addressing operational bottlenecks with systemic solutions.
- Financial Oversight: Review financial performance, manage budgets, implement cost-control measures, and ensure accurate corporate reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and sustain high-value relationships with key industry stakeholders, partners, and major clients.
- Compliance & Systems: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and corporate policies while building scalable operational structures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field. (An MBA or relevant professional certification is highly preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience in operations, business management, or sales, with substantial exposure to the oil & gas or logistics sector.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of driving business growth, strong financial literacy, and exceptional marketing and business development skills.
- Leadership Capabilities: Experience managing large teams and multi-department operations, with a strong focus on team and staff development.
- Core Competencies: High level of integrity, strategic problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to execute strategy with minimal supervision.
Remuneration
N600,000 – N900,000 Monthly (Based on experience) + Performance Bonuses.
