Job Title: Mechanical / Piping Designer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Role Description
- The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating technical drawings, designing machinery, and collaborating with engineering teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Additionally, the role involves utilising Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, participating in Research and Development (R&D), and ensuring designs meet engineering standards and specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas business
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Machine Design
- Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Background in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative mechanical solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in the oilfield or energy sector is a valuable asset.
