Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos

Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Nigeria.
  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic client relationships, developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and analyzing market trends.
  • The role will also involve delivering presentations, coordinating with internal teams, and negotiating and closing business agreements as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5 years’ significant experience in similar job role (sales or business development) within oil servicing industry or related industries.
  • Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand NCDMB/local content requirements and tendering processes.
  • Adeptness in building professional networks to identify new opportunities
  • Capacity to develop creative, strategic solutions and long-term business growth strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM or ERP tools is an added advantage
  • Proven skills in Client Relationship Management, Communication, and Negotiation
  • Strong ability in Market Research, Opportunity Identification, and Market Trend Analysis
  • Experience in Sales Strategies, Proposal Development, and Business Pitching
  • Excellent Project Management and Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to dynamic business conditions
  • Familiarity with the natural resources sector and experience in a similar role is an advantage.
