Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Support financial planning and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with business units to track spending against budgets
- Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide insights
- Develop and maintain management dashboards and performance reports
- Monitor and track departmental spending against approved budgets
- Partner with business units to analyze financial performance and cost drivers
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial outcomes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Improve reporting processes and enhance automation where possible
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Present financial insights and recommendations to management
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of FA experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in Excel/BI tools required.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and reporting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of Accuracy and attention to detail.
