We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Develop robust, low-latency APIs to seamlessly power our cross-platform mobile apps and web administrative dashboards.
• Integrate third-party APIs securely using their respective documentation.
• Design and optimize complex database schemas, ensuring the system can efficiently handle high read/write ratios.
• Write clean, high quality, high performance, and properly tested code.
• Collaborate with mobile and frontend teams, providing internal documentation for APIs.
• Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve production issues to avoid downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on backend experience.
• Production experience using Golang, Node.js, Python, etc
• Deep knowledge on databases, caching, and deployments.
