Job Title: School Digital Media Officer

Job Summary
- A reputable nursery and primary school in Ibadan, delivering the International British Curriculum, is seeking to appoint acreative, proactive, and highly organised School Digital Media Officer.
- This role is central to the school’s visibility and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible forcapturing, creating, and managing digital content that showcases the school’s learning environment, pupil achievements, and daily school life.
- We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a school environment and has the ability to turn everyday learning moments into engaging digital stories that reflect the school’s values and strengths.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Media & Content Creation:
- Manage and grow the school’s social media platforms through consistent, engaging, and well-presented content.
- Capture high-quality photographs and short videos of classroom activities, school events, and pupil achievements.
- Create engaging posts that highlight teaching, learning experiences, and school life.
- Develop digital content that strengthens the school’s online presence and visibility.
Design & School Branding:
- Design flyers, posters, newsletters, and promotional materials using CorelDraw, Canva and similar design tools.
- Support the school’s visual identity by ensuring all published materials reflect a consistent and professional brand image.
- Create digital materials for school programmes, announcements, and events.
School Documentation & Communication:
- Document key school activities, events, and learning experiences for digital platforms.
- Work with teachers and school leadership to capture important academic and extracurricular moments.
- Occasionally assist with editing and formatting school materials such as examination papers, learning documents, and internal publications.
Performance Expectations
- This is a results-driven role requiring creativity, initiative, and consistency.
- The successful candidate must actively identify opportunities to showcase the school ’s activities, produce engaging digital content, and contribute to strengthening the school ’s visibility online.
- Candidates should be passionate about telling the story of a thriving learning environment through digital media.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor ’s degree or HND in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years post-NYSC relevant experience in digital media, communications, marketing, or content creation.
- Strong working knowledge of Corel Draw, Canva and similar graphic design software.
- Ability to take high-quality photographs and short videos suitable for digital platforms.
- Experience managing social media pages for an organisation, brand, or institution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a school or education environment will be an advantage.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
