Job Title: Energy Manager

Job Summary
- We seeks to engage a highly competent and experienced Energy Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to optimize energy usage, reduce operational costs, and drive sustainability across all our facilities.
- Lead our transition to cleaner energy while ensuring uninterrupted power supply for critical operations and events.
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits and analyze consumption patterns across OOPL facilities.
- Develop and implement energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives to achieve measurable savings.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of generators, HVAC systems, chillers, and renewable energy installations.
- Manage and lead solar/inverter projects and manage relationships with utility providers including IBEDC
- Ensure compliance with national energy regulations, NESREA guidelines, and ISO 50001 standards
- Prepare monthly energy performance reports and budget forecasts data for Management.
- Train staff on energy efficiency practices and develop SOPs for energy management
Requirements
- B.Eng in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering. Professional certification
- COREN registration mandatory. CEM – Certified Energy Manager is a strong advantage
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in energy management, preferably in large organisation
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission codes and energy efficiency laws.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in Excel and energy monitoring tools
- Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure during major events and resolve power-related issues promptly.
- High level of integrity, innovation, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
