Carlson Hotel, a four-star hotel located at Ikoyi, Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Responsibilties
Linen & Uniform Processing:

• Sorting and Washing: Sort soiled linens, towels, and staff uniforms by fabric type, color, and cleaning method.
• Stain Treatment: Pre-treat stains and apply appropriate chemicals for specialized cleaning.
• Machine Operation: Efficiently operate industrial washers and dryers.
• Finishing: Dry, iron, and fold linens, towels, and uniforms meticulously.

Inventory & Distribution:

• Distribution: Distribute clean linens to room attendants and floor linen rooms.
• Stock Maintenance: Maintain a well-stocked supply of clean laundry for guests and housekeeping.
• Inventory Control: Assist with periodic inventory counts and maintain a log of discarded or damaged linens.

Equipment & Facility Care:

• Machine Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance on laundry machines, such as cleaning lint filters, cleaning the ironer, and checking chemical levels.
• Area Cleanliness: Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and sanitary.

Guest Service & Quality Control:

• Quality Inspection: Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness and damage, performing minor repairs or sewing if needed.
• Guest Laundry: Handle personal guest laundry, including dry cleaning requests.
• Reporting: Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Support Roles:

• Assist housekeepers with tasks like replenishing room supplies.

Salary
N70,000 monthly.
