Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Position Overview

• The Laundry Attendant is the face of our facility, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role balances high-quality customer service with technical oversight of our machinery and the precise execution of professional laundry services.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Excellence: Greet every customer with a friendly demeanor and provide proactive assistance with machine selection, payment systems, and general inquiries.
• Facility Stewardship: Maintain a pristine environment by performing regular cleaning cycles, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, cleaning restrooms, and timely trash removal.
• Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of washers and dryers to ensure all units operate at peak efficiency and are used correctly by patrons.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify equipment malfunctions and perform minor troubleshooting; promptly report complex mechanical issues to management to minimize downtime.
• Wash-Dry-Fold Services: Execute professional "drop-off" services with close attention to detail, ensuring all laundry is washed according to garment care labels and folded to company standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce all facility safety rules and operational policies to protect both customers and equipment, ensuring a secure environment for all.
• Supplies Management: Monitor and replenish vending machines or soap stations, ensuring customers have access to the laundry products they need.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Service Mindset: Ability to handle customer needs with patience and a positive attitude.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in folding and a keen eye for cleanliness.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift laundry bags (up to 20kg).
• Problem-Solving: Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting appliance issues.
• Proximity: Proximity to Lekki Phase 1 is a key requirement for this position. Candidates residing within Lekki Phase 1 or the immediate surrounding areas (e.g., Ikate, Victoria Island, Oniru) will be given strong preference to ensure punctuality and ease of commute.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
