Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location: Alimosho, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are hiring on behalf of our client for a qualified and experienced Medical Doctor (Female) to join a reputable healthcare facility in Alimosho, Lagos.
• The role operates on a shift basis, including weekends, alongside a team of three other doctors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations, examinations, and diagnosis of patients
• Monitor patients and provide appropriate treatment plans
• Supervise labour and delivery processes
• Perform Manual Vacuum Aspration (MVA)
• Carry out cervical repairs
• Perform episiotomy and episiotomy repairs
• Assist surgeons in theatre during procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Provide health education and preventive care advice
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC experience is preferred
• Applicants must have completed NYSC or have a valid exemption certificate (do not apply if you have not served or are not exempted)
• Hands-on experience in obstetrics and gynecological procedures
• Strong clinical, surgical assistance, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Work Schedule:

• Shift-based schedule (Morning or Night with off days)
• Work alongside three (3) other doctors.
