Graduate Trainee (Blow Mould Engineer) at the Candel FZE

The Candel FZE is a manufacturing company engaged in the development, production, marketing and distribution of agrochemicals, specialised fertilisers, seeds and allied products in Nigeria. It is located in the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos; near Dangote Refinery.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graduate Trainee (Blow Mould Engineer)

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance work
• Assist in the training of new Operators
• Assist inand maintenance personnel on mechanical repairs
• Communicate with the Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate production line support staff in accomplishing the lines’ objectives
• Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards
• Properly identify regrind and chunk produced
• Communicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift. Assist other Operators as needed;
• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing a container in a safe and high quality method
• Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap
• Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner
• Verify material usage per standards
• Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards
• Monitor resin (if applicable), dryer, material handling and color systems for appropriate processing conditions.

Requirements

• Should have graduated from one of Nigeria’s Universities with a minimum of Second Class Honors, Upper Division; with a B.Eng in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Agric Engineering.
• Our Ideal candidate is aged not more than 30 years old.
