Role Overview
- We are seeking a high-performing Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth within our freight forwarding and logistics division.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, converting prospects into clients, and managing key accounts to ensure long-term value and customer satisfaction.
- This role requires a strong understanding of logistics solutions, a consultative sales approach, and a proven ability to deliver revenue growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement, exceptional service, and tailored logistics solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify target clients, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and value propositions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
- Manage and grow key accounts by understanding client needs and ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, proactively resolving issues in collaboration with internal teams.
- Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions.
- Partner with marketing to support lead generation campaigns and business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline data, client interactions, and performance reports using CRM systems.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market developments to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Conduct post-sales follow-ups to drive customer retention, repeat business, and referrals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of logistics services, supply chain solutions, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while driving new business development.
- Results-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
