We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Process invoices, payments, and expense records
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Support audits by providing required documentation and information
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Tally, or similar packages
• Ability to perform account reconciliations effectively
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualities:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data
• Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting.
