Role Summary
- We are seeking smart, driven, and enthusiastic NYSC Corps Members to join our team as Mud Engineering Interns.
- This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in drilling operations and fluid systems in the oil & gas industry.
Who We’re Looking For
Recent graduates currently serving (or about to begin NYSC) with backgrounds in:
- Geology
- Petroleum Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Or related disciplines
Key Responsibilities
- Support drilling fluid (mud) preparation, testing, and maintenance
- Assist in monitoring mud properties and reporting performance
- Participate in field and laboratory operations as assigned
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate records and daily reports
- Work closely with senior engineers and field teams
Requirements
- Degree (B.Sc./B.Eng.) in a relevant field (Geology, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, etc.)
- Must be a current NYSC Corps Member or awaiting deployment
- Strong interest in mud engineering / drilling operations
- Willingness to work in field environments (including offshore/onshore locations if required)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of drilling operations is an added advantage.
