We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• The internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes.
• Ensures compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and supports organizational objectives through independent assurance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify control gaps.
• Review financial, operational, and compliance processes.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Follow up on audit issues and ensure timely remediation.
• Support fraud investigations and special reviews.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Provide advisory services to improve processes and controls.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

Certifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIA, ISO 27001, CFE or equivalent professional certification (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–7 years’ experience in internal audit.
• Experience in financial services or fintech is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
• Proficiency in audit tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
