Job Title: Client Service Officer

Description

  • Gbovo is seeking a proactive Client Service Officer. The Client Service officer will be the primary point of contact for Gbovo clients following successful asset procurement. Sitting within the Account Management function and reporting directly to the Key Account Lead, this is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for ensuring every client experiences a smooth, professional, and well-supported post-procurement journey.
  • The CSO manages the end-to-end onboarding process, handles day-to-day client communications, and takes ownership of resolving issues related to payments, insurance, and account queries, escalating where necessary to the appropriate internal teams.
  • This role demands strong organisational discipline, clear and consistent communication, and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
This role shall include the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the onboarding process for clients following successful asset procurement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client-related communications and matters.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and effective support.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate issues related to insurance, payment delays, and other client concerns to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen professional client relationships to promote satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor client experience and ensure a smooth, efficient, and satisfactory post-procurement process. Provide regular updates to management regarding client status, risks, and escalations.

Requirement

  • The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of direct client-facing experience in a financial services, lending, or fintech environment, and takes pride in the quality and reliability of their work.
