Summary
- We are looking for a vibrant, detail-oriented, and professional Customer Service Representative to join our Asaba team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer experience, from initial enquiry to the safe shipping and tracking of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain effective communication with clients through meetings, calls, and consistent follow-ups.
- Enquiry Handling: Respond to customer enquiries promptly via phone, WhatsApp, and walk-ins, providing accurate and comprehensive information about our shipping services and rates.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of items for defects and report any issues or discrepancies immediately.
- Operational Accuracy: Efficiently process, pack, and ship orders, ensuring accuracy in handling and packaging.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare all required shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork, ensuring full compliance and precision.
- Shipment Tracking: Actively monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates to both clients and internal teams.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organised records of all sales activities, shipments, and customer interactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any discipline.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or a related operational role.
- Must be a resident of Asaba.
- Ability to speak the local language effectively to relate with customers will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and item inspection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
