Estate Manager at Uprightmarket

Uprightmarket Company operates an investment and training platform that provides accredited investors with access to alternative investment opportunities beyond traditional stocks, real estate , commodities and bonds. These include, hedge funds, private equity, real estate funds, and digital assets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Estate Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Estate Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and security of the estate or property.
• The role ensures that all facilities are functioning efficiently, residents or users are satisfied, and the environment is safe, clean, and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities
Facility & Property Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the estate (buildings, roads, drainage, utilities)
• Ensure proper maintenance of structures, equipment, and infrastructure
• Supervise repairs, renovations, and general upkeep

Staff Supervision:

• Manage and coordinate staff such as security personnel, cleaners, gardeners, and technicians
• Assign duties and monitor performance
• Ensure discipline and professionalism among staff

Security & Safety:

• Ensure the estate is secure at all times
• Supervise security systems and personnel
• Enforce safety procedures and emergency response plans

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance and operations
• Collect service charges or dues (where applicable)
• Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Estate Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in estate or facility management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving ability
• Basic financial and record-keeping knowledge
• Familiarity with maintenance systems and safety standards
