Job Title: Sales Manager - Paper Packaging

Role Overview

• We are seeking experienced and results-driven Sales Managers to drive revenue growth within our paper packaging business.
• The ideal candidates will have strong experience in traditional (open) market sales and a proven ability to build and manage distribution channels, particularly within packaging or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
• Identify and penetrate new markets, particularly within traditional/open market channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.
• Drive sales of paper packaging products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
• Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform pricing and positioning strategies.
• Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key clients.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
• Recruit, train, and manage sales representatives where applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience in traditional (open) market sales is mandatory.
• Prior experience in food packaging sales (paper or plastic) is highly preferred.
• Strong network within open markets, distributors, and wholesale channels.
• Ability to work independently and drive aggressive sales growth.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Mid-level to senior-level experience in sales management roles.
• Strong commercial acumen and market intelligence capabilities.

Additional Information:

• We are hiring two (2) Sales Managers for this role.
• Candidates with strong experience in open market distribution and packaging sales will be given priority.

Compensation

• Salary is flexible and will be competitive based on experience and suitability (N250,000 - N300,000 per month).
• Performance-based incentives and bonuses applicable.
