We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and expenditure reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Monitor financial transactions and recommend improvements for efficiency
  • Maintain proper documentation of all financial records

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 2–4 years relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Good understanding of tax regulations and accounting principles
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
  • Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage
  • Must reside in Warri, Delta State or its environs
