Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent client relationship skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics market
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering tailored logistics solutions
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and negotiate contract terms
- Manage key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Conduct market research to identify prospects and stay ahead of industry trends
- Handle client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high service standards
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, client interactions, and reports using CRM tools
- Work with marketing teams to support campaigns and lead generation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years proven sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Strong track record of closing deals and achieving revenue targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
- Strong understanding of logistics solutions and market dynamics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with frequent client visits and industry engagements
- May require extended hours to meet sales targets and client needs.
