Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Ogun
Job Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and industrial equipment.
- Work with industrial automation systems including PLCs and VFDs.
- Carry out wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical panels and machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Ensure proper operation of motors using Direct Online (DOL) starters and other control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Support production operations to achieve efficient and reliable performance.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) Technical Certificate in Electrical or related field.
- 2 - 3 years proven working experience in industrial electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLC, VFD, and motor control systems).
- Understanding of Direct Online (DOL) wiring and electrical panel design.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
