Job Title: Area Medical Sales Manager

Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Medical Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in kano and across the Northern region.
- The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the Northern pharmaceutical market, established relationships with key stakeholders, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acheive regional revenue targets
- Manage, coach, and supervise a team of Medical Sales Representatives across assigned territories
- Drive market penetration and business growth in Kano and surrounding Northern states.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to guide business decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and awareness campaigns in the region
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Science, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 -3 years in a managerial role
- Strong experience working in Northern Nigeria (Kano and surrounding states is mandatory)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and distribution channels in the North
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
