Job Title: Structural Welder (Offshore)
Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Description
- Perform welding of structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret structural fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and job instructions.
- Carry out fit-up, alignment, and assembly of structural members prior to welding.
- Execute welding using approved processes while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
- Repair or rework defective welds to meet required standards.
- Maintain safety compliance and complete welding activities within project schedules.
Requirements
- Trade Test Certificate or relevant welding qualification in structural fabrication.
- 2–4 years experience in structural steel welding.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols.
- Competent in SMAW, GMAW, and/or FCAW welding processes.
- Strong focus on weld quality, safety compliance, and meeting project deadlines.
- Offshore travel documents valid for at least one year(BOSIET,OSP,SBC,Medicals, TB, A&D, Audiometry).
